Someone who just recently had twins was asked how life was like with two little babies in the house. He replied by saying, "I now realize how much sleep I don't really need"!
I was reminded of that response last night. Between feeding babies, burping babies, changing babies' diapers, and dealing with little babies' belly aches, David and I probably got a total of 3 hours of sleep. Needless to say, today we are exhausted... but will our children let us take a nap??? Of course not! While the younger two are sleeping, the older three are awake and lively! While the older three are taking their naps, the twins decide that they are finished with sleeping. (big yawn) I totally forget what an uninterrupted 8 hour sleep feels like. Must be wonderful though!

The kids are waiting here with me for David to get out of the tub and then we'll open our stockings!!! they opened up their little knights/horse craft thing from you last night and LOVE them. that is why they are being so patient waiting to see what Santa brought- they already have super cool toys!!! Thanks so much again for all your gifts- there are still so many of them under the tree!!!!

Feel for you both, yes! there is little sleep for quite a while yet. but it is amazing that you just keep going.
