Past Couple of Days

Hello from a dismal, wet-snowy place! :)
Thanks for thinking about us during our recent trip to Frankfurt. For the most part, everything went very smoothly and we made it there and back with no problems. The babies slept most of the time in the car, and the older three did very well keeping quiet when they weren't sleeping. The night at the hotel wasn't that fun, as the babies were very fussy and Aria, Nina, and Micah had a difficult time falling asleep. (They all slept in one bed and it was more fun tickling one another than sleeping. :D) We woke-up very early in the morning in order to get to our appointment at the Embassy on time. Surprisingly, even though it was only 6:30am, there was still a line of people waiting to get in the doors when it opened. Thankfully, since we had little kids with us, we were allowed to jump to the front of the line. Everything went smoothly at the Embassy, and our twins should be "Americanized" within the next 2-3 weeks! :) I guess you could say that was our first traveling experience with all 5 kiddos. Overall, it went well, yet at times it was quite, umm, 'interesting'! It defiitely takes teamwork on David and I's part! We made quite the scene though, with our twin stroller, stroller for Micah, and Aria and Nina tagging along.
Here are just a few photos from the past few days...
Micah relaxing in bed (a pack-n-play) with a book.

Micah loves wearing papa's boots!

The other evening while I was giving the older three their baths, David was taking care of the twins. They were quite fussy, and then all of a sudden everything was quiet. I came out of the bathroom to see what had happened, and I found David walking around with them like this. He says that it's too difficult for him to hold them both at the same time (as he thinks they are uncomfortable), so he put them each in their car seats and walked around with them. They loved it and were quiet until he set them down again. :)

A load of clean laundry makes a great place for a little nap!

This morning, Micah decided that Hanna needed a toy to play with. He brought her one of his tractors and was so excited to give it to her! Though, he was disappointed when he came back later to find that she hadn't even touched it. Too cute! :)
