One month ago, at the end of December, I took a picture of Heidi with Nina's baby doll. Everyone said how the twins were just like little doll babies, so I wanted a picture of Heidi with one (since she was the smallest of the two). She really wasn't that much bigger than the doll! In fact, I think the doll's head was even a bit bigger than Heidi's!
I just took another picture of Heidi with her 'dolly friend' last evening. I wanted to see how much she had grown in the past month. She's definitely getting bigger! (Although, I don't want her to get big too fast! :D)
Last week at my doctor's appointment, I was reminded again of how blessed we are that both of our little girls arrived safely and are doing so well. My doctor (who also has twin girls), told me that it was so good that our twins were born when they were. She said that our little Heidi would not have grown any more inside my womb, as she wasn't getting enough from the placenta. If they hadn't been born early, our little Heidi may be handicapped today, or worse, not here with us. She said that we can be so thankful that we had the medical attention we did, that the twins were born when they were, and that they are doing so well now. We are... we are SOOOO thankful! SO thankful for these two little sweeties! :)
