While I was cleaning the bathtub this morning, Aria came into the bathroom and exclaimed, “Oh! I thought you were an elephant!” Hmmm… what’s that supposed to mean?!?!
The twins are sleeping much better during the night. We now average about 6-8 hours of sleep each night… so much better than the 3-4 hours we were getting earlier!
I just love, love, love having 4 little girls and a boy! It is just sooo much fun! We are so thankful for our little handful of kids!
Yesterday, we received the twins American passports and Birth abroads in the mail! They told us it would take 2-3 weeks for them to arrive… and we got them in one week! Now that’s service! :)
We are presently busy working on getting all our documents ready in order to apply for the 5 year visa upon our return to T-land. (We are planning on returning around the beginning of April.) This includes getting all of our passports renewed (as they need to be valid for at least five more years, and most of ours were soon going to expire) and receiving medical check-ups and different tests. This coming week, all seven of us have appointments to get blood drawn for an AIDs test. So NOT looking forward to that for our children’s sake!
Several evenings ago, we purchased plane tickets to come to the States!!! Yippee! :) It has now been over three years since we have been in the States together as a family. (Our kids don’t even know their cousins and aunt and uncles on my side of the family. They do know who Grandma and Grandpa are though! :D) Since we have some time before we are planning on returning to T-land and the babies are healthy and finances have been provided, we decided to take advantage of the opportunity to go. (We didn't want to mention the possibility of us going to the States earlier, as we weren't sure if it would all work out to go.) It will be really nice spending time with family and reconnecting with our sending agencies and friends while there. (We hope to see many of you during our time there!) We plan on being in the States from Feb. 16th – March 29th. It should prove to be quite interesting traveling with our now 5 little ones… not looking forward to it… but thankfully, David’s youngest brother agreed to travel along with us and help out with our luggage and kids! Dennis will be such a big help, and plus, it will be great fun having him with us! :)
