Broken slides, sand and rocks

This morning at breakfast, I asked the kids what they remember about our home in T-land. Full of excitement, this is what they said...

Aria: "Mom, do you remember the slide with a broken ladder that's there?"

Me: "Yes! That's right, Aria. Outside our home is a slide without a ladder."

Nina: "Yeah! And Aria and I can climb up it ourselves, but you need to pick up Micah and put him at the top."

Me: "What else do you remember?"

Nina: "Umm, there's sand!"

Aria: "And rocks!"

I thought this was hilarious, because yes, that's pretty much what is there... broken playground equipment, sand, and rocks. But you know, even after being here in the west, where there is just so many nicer things, the girls were totally excited about the broken slide, the sand and all of the rocks. They are really looking forward to going back! And of course, Micah just nods his head and says "yes" to everything, like he remembers it all too. :)
