Travel Plans

I know it's just Sunday morning, but I think the rest of the day will be a little too busy for me to write anything here, so I better do it now! :) Here is a brief summary of our travel plans.

-Leave for airport at 2am Monday morning. (I think I'll just put the kids ot bed in their clean clothes and once 2 am hits, we'll just transport them from their beds to the car.)

-Drive 2-3 hours to the airport.

-Leave Germany around 7am. This is about a 3 hour flight.

-Arrive in the capital of R-land around noon.

-Have a 3 hour layover in the capital.

-Next, we'll have about a 5 hour flight to the city of A.

-We hope to arrive in A around midnight on Monday.

- Depending on how everyone is doing, we'll either go ahead and get a taxi to take us the rest of the 6 hour drive through the mountains to home. Or, we'll find a hotel somewhere, spend the night and rest up a bit, and travel the last 6 hours in the morning. Either way, we hope to arrive home sometime on Tuesday... either early morning or early afternoon.

We would greatly appreciate your thoughts tomorrow as we'll be traveling. Please be thinking of safety, health, that we can get good seats on the plane (at least we'd be together and not spread out through the plane), that our children won't be too exhausted through all the traveling, and that things will just go smoothly. Thanks so much for thinking of us! Next time, I hope to be posting from T-land! :)

Oh, and David's brother Eduard will be traveling with us and then spending a couple of weeks with us in T-land. We are so thankful for his willingness to go with us and help out with luggage and kids. Danke Onkel Eddi!
Also, thanks so much for all of your thoughts for us this past week as we were packing and finishing up details here. I can thankfully say that we are all packed (except for a few things like pajamas and Sunday clothes :D). I don't think we've ever been all packed this far out ahead! It's a wonderful feeling to have that all done! We appreciate you all! Have a great Sunday!
