The first time our kids have ever eaten hotdogs was several months ago at Grandma and Grandpa's house. My mom told me later that they didn't even know how to eat them. Micah was stabbing it (the hotdog in a bun) with a fork, and Aria and Nina were looking at theirs questioningly... "how do we eat this, Grandma?" I guess the hotdogs left a big impression on them. The other day when Nina saw one in a book, she got excited and said, "mommy, look, there's one of those things that we had at Grandma's house... 'dog food'! :)
