We've had a very fun week, as our friend Shawna has been staying with us! She's here to help us evaluate our progress in the language and spend time with us. It's been great having her around and catching-up with her. She visited us right before we left for the twins' birth last October, so it's great that she can now meet the babies and actually hold them. I've definitely been spoiled having her stay with us, as she's been such a big help with taking care of the babies, reading books and playing games with the older three, and even washing dishes! We all really like it when Miss Shawna comes for a visit! :)

Shawna had braided Nina's hair, and so she was looking in the mirror to see what it looked like. Well, Micah decided he needed to have a look too. I just think his expression in this photo is hilarious. :)

Friday evening, we went on a little picnic. The place where we normally go was full of water, as the river has been really rising this spring. (I think it's the highest it's been for quite some time.) But, we still managed to have fun, despite it being quite windy. Oh, and just so you know, all of these photos were taken by Shawna.

Micah's all ready to cheer for Germany in the Soccer World Cup which begins next Sunday! (Of course, we'll cheer for the States too. :D)
