If you would have visited us today, you would have...

seen a glass full of milk spill all over the breakfast table.

heard the Nursery Rhyme "Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers" read over and over really fast.

seen piles of laundry that needed to be washed.

witnessed two little girls refusing to take their morning naps, insisting on playing together in their crib instead.

heard the girls reciting their verses from A-Z.

seen Micah running around with a wooden spoon and a ball.

heard three little ones scream with excitement as they watched the first snowflakes of the season fall.

seen little hands diligently cutting out their own snowflakes.

seen snowflakes taped to the children's window.

heard a certain 2-year old exclaim (at the most inconvenient of times, it seemed), "mommy! POTTY!!!"

seen three little ones enjoy playing with a fresh batch of Kool-aid play dough. Perhaps you would have played with them!

heard me breath a sigh of relief once David walked in the door right before supper.

had chicken and vegetable stir fry with rice for supper.

heard Nina explain to Papa why she is so skinny and doesn't eat much. "Because mommy always makes meat to eat. I don't like meat because it is chewy and gets stuck in my teeth!"

seen Nina eat Aria's left-over carrots at supper, and Micah eat the rest of Nina's meat.

been overwhelmed by the noise level in our apartment at times.

heard David talk about his lower-back pain.

seen babies' white socks turn dirty black with soot after crawling around in our apartment all day (as soot is constantly coming into our place).

seen two little baby girls cuddling with one another while sleeping soundly.

heard bed time stories being read.

heard me breath a big sigh of relief once all the kiddos were tucked into bed for the night.

"Good night!"
