"Me love her!"

All of our kids love their baby sister, Madelynn. But, I guess I've been a bit surprised by Micah. He will be the first one to ask where she is in the morning, and seems to be quite interested in what she's doing... eating, getting a diaper change, a bath, etc. Yesterday, she had spit-up quite a bit, and the kids were all afraid that she was sick. I calmed them down, by telling them that she probably had just eaten a bit too much, but no, she was not sick. This morning while I was feeding Madelynn, Micah told me, "mommy, don't feed her too much. Then she'll throw-up again!"

Micah also seems to be quite concerned that Madelynn will stay with us. It seems like at least once a day he will ask me if she will go with us on the airplane. (=D) I tell him that we are not going to go on an airplane right now, but if we did, she would go with us. She is our baby, and will stay with us and go with us wherever we go. Micah always smiles real big after I tell him that. =)

Micah will often ask to hold his baby sister. I had let him hold her for quite some time this morning, and then took her in order to change her diaper. When I was finished with the diaper change...

Micah: "Mommy, can I hold her?"

Me: "Really? You want to hold her again?"

Micah: "Yes! Me love her!"

What a good big brother! =)
