This past Wednesday, our little guy turned '4'.
(sniff, sniff... how in the world is it possible that he's already 4?!?!?)
Birthday candles always make baked oatmeal (Micah's favorite) taste even better.
Micah was so excited, and so proud of the card that he received in the mail from Grandma and Grandpa! It was sitting on the shelf for over a week now, and he could hardly wait to open it!
"A ball that lights up! Just what I wanted!"
In the evening, we had some extended family over for supper and a little party for Micah. Our children find birthday cakes to be something exciting and special, so we try to make it that way for them. Micah talks a lot about Spiderman (I think due mostly to the influence of our former co-workers in T-land, Josiah and Hudson :D). Really, he has no idea who or what Spiderman is. He just knows that it's something boys like and talk about. :) So, we put a Spiderman toy figure on his cake. When he saw it, he said, "what is it?" When we told him that it was Spiderman, he was one happy little boy! :) So funny.
Micah David, how we love you! We are so thankful that you are part of our family. We love your laugh, your one-of-a-kind smile and dimples, your inquisitive mind which wants to know how everything works, your energy, and even your loudness! Even though you can get a little rough with all of your sisters (you DO have a lot of them :D), you sure can be sweet and sensitive to them too. You are just wonderfully special. We love you! Happy Birthday! :)
