These yellow carts can be seen all over the place during the summer time. They are selling a favorite summer drink, called 'kvas'. 'Kvas' is a drink made from fruit and yeast. Unfortunately, I have not tried it yet, but hope to sometime soon. It sounds interesting enough!
This past week we had such a nice visit with a friend from where we had spent the past two years. He came to T-land in order to do some teaching at one of the universities. He spent Tuesday afternoon and Thursday evening with us. It was great seeing an 'old' friend and catching-up with the 'going-ons' in our former home. We realized again how much we miss U-U. Hopefully we'll be able to see more friends from there in the future, as T-land is not that far away from there. :)
