This Christmas season, my thoughts have been continually going to a dear friend of mine. I met my friend Erin over 11 years ago at Rosedale, and we have managed to stay in touch through all those years and the many miles that separate us. She is one of those people that you just love to be around! Her smile and laugh are contagious, and her sense of humor is great. She's a very talented and beautiful daughter of the king.
Just in the last week or two, she has found out some very difficult news. She has cancer. (She is only 30 years old.) Today (Thursday), she is going in for surgery. If she is brought to your thoughts, could you please join me in thinking about her? My heart really aches that she has to go through all this, especially right before Christmas. Please be thinking about Erin, her husband and sweet little boy.
